Customers, by providing their personal and account details, give The Durham Brewery Ltd the right to store their personal and account information to the extent necessary to process orders and send newsletters. All information is handled fully in compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We do not have access to credit card details in online transactions, these being made through Barclaycard and PayPal. Credit card details given over the telephone are destroyed immediately the transaction has been processed.
We will not disclose your personal information and account details to any third party. However, the Newsletter is processed through mailchimp and email addresses are held on a MailChimp server in a secure account. If you wish to be removed from our online shop database please email contact. Permitted promotional email addresses from the online shop will be transferred to the newsletter database. To be removed from the newsletter database, please use the unsubscribe link in the Newsletter Signup sections, unsubscribe on a newsletter or send a request from the Contact page.
