Winter Beer & Music Festival 5th December 2pm – 9pm

There’s something rather special about the brewery in winter. As the daylight fades, the brewery lights come on, the bars fill up, the music starts and the whole place takes on a fantastic atmosphere.
So this December, we’re doing it properly.
Join us on Saturday 5th December for the Durham Brewery Winter Beer & Music Festival, our big winter celebration of live music, great beer, good food and a cracking day and evening out.
Headlining the festival are Longsight, one of those bands that simply refuses to let an audience stand still. Expect a storming mix of ska, mod, punk and classic rock, with songs from the Buzzcocks, Ramones, The Specials, The Jam, Madness, Bad Manners, Oasis, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles and plenty more.
They’re upbeat, energetic and great fun. When Longsight play, people dance.
Also performing is the superb Ste Wilson, playing modern country with nothing more than his guitar and an extraordinary voice. If you haven’t heard Ste before, you’re in for a real treat.
And, of course, it wouldn’t be a Durham Brewery festival without plenty to drink.
We’ll have two bars open, with both the Tap Room Bar and Brewery Bar serving throughout the event. Expect around 10 to 12 real ales, alongside wines, ciders and spirits, plus a proper selection of alcohol-free beers, ciders and spirits for anyone taking it easy.
We’ll also have the barbecue fired up, serving hot food to keep everyone well fed as the festivities roll on.

Come down early, find yourself a beer, grab something from the barbecue and settle in. Then, as the winter darkness falls and the brewery lights come alive, we’ll turn the music up.

This one might not be suitable for dogs as the music will be loud and the weather may not allow for sitting outside.  If you do bring your dog it must be kept under control and on a lead.  Please keep this in mind for children too.  They must be well supervised as the area outside will be dark.

Dress accordingly as it could be cold in the brewery until you start dancing!

Please don’t bring any alcohol on site…we have plenty and it is our licence!
